Our 1555 Black Ale is a rich dark brew with a Roasty chocolate aroma, and earthy english hop notes. Complex malt flavors with smooth subtle hints chocolate and a crisp finish. This beer is fermented with a lager yeast at warmer than normal lager temperatures (60-65°F), this gives the beer a complex fruity character which compliments the dark roast and chocolate malt flavors.
