Inspired by 1554 from New Belgium Brewing Company This amber ale features a mellow malt character with some citrusy hop flavors and aromas. The amber color comes from ample use of specialty grains, which also add a rich caramel and toast malt aroma. It is a very good beer that certainly improves for up to two years but somehow doesn't quite ever make it that long. Yum!
