Triple sec is a clear, orange-flavored liqueur made from the dried peels of bitter & sweet oranges, and other citrus, often with a base spirit like neutral grain alcohol or brandy. It is produced by infusing the orange peels in alcohol, then distilling and sweetening the mixture to create a balanced, citrusy flavor. Our process for this kit is a steeping method of direct infusion. Triple sec is commonly used in cocktails such as Margaritas, Cosmopolitans, and Sidecars, providing a bright, zesty sweetness that complements other ingredients.
